TERMS & CONDITIONS

If I agree to work with you, I will send you a contract that includes terms and conditions. These terms and conditions, and the relationship between us, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, English law.

The contract will include an agreed plan for the work and you will need to confirm that you have the authority to enter into this contract and have, or have gained, parental permission for the child to work with me. You will also need to agree to stick to my payment terms, that I can use and process your, and the child’s, personal information to be able to do my work and that you are responsible for reviewing my work and providing feedback in a timely manner. Any concerns need to be raised before the next consultation to ensure that my work is what you want.

Fees and Payment Terms

Fees for my consultations are agreed beforehand so that you know how much you are going to spend. Any additional charges for time travel or costs and for producing materials in high volumes would also be agreed with you before the work was started. I do not currently accept fees from private insurance providers.

Fees are payable within 7 calendar days of the receipt of invoice (sent by e-mail on the first day after my services are completed or once the draft report has been shared). Fees are payable via bank transfer to the account details on your invoice.

If the fees are not what you are expecting, you must raise this with me as soon as possible and within 7 days of receipt of invoice.

If payment is not received within 7 calendar days, I will send you a reminder. If you have an unexpected financial difficulty please talk to me about it so that we can come up with a solution.

Otherwise, if payment is still not received after 21 calendar days, I reserve the right to charge late payment fees in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act Regulations 2002. This includes the right to claim interest on unpaid invoices at 8% over the Bank of England base rate and reasonable recovery costs as well as a late payment fee depending on the size of the invoice.

If payment is not received after 30 calendar days, I reserve the right to report the non-payment to a debt collection agency or, as a last resort, to take legal action.

Cancellation/Termination Policy

If you need to re-arrange or cancel a session, you can do this by e-mail or by phone up to two working days before the appointment without charge. After this, I reserve the right to incur the full fee for that appointment. If you wish to terminate the contract, you can do this by e-mail or telephone up to 7 days before the following appointment without charge. Otherwise, I reserve the right to incur the full fee for the next appointment.

I reserve the right to withdraw my services for professional reasons as well as for reasons regarding non-payment, repeated late payments or late cancellations.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with the services I provide, please do talk to me about it so that we can arrive at a solution that meets your needs. However, if you wish to make a formal complaint about the nature of my work, you should raise your concerns with the HCPC.
